HAINZL Green Deal programs ensure more environmental awareness and sustainability
HAINZL is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly business: With the campaigns related to the "Green Deal", HAINZL Industriesysteme in Linz wants to raise awareness and provide incentives for its employees. In June, the focus was on the bicycle.
On Friday, June 2, 2023, the company held the first HAINZL Bike Day: The workforce was encouraged to leave the car and cycle to work. At the same time, the company launched a bike leasing model in June, which employees can use to lease bikes easily and inexpensively. “We would like to focus more on the bike as an environmentally and health-conscious means of transport. Combined with the climate ticket for employees, we want to offer employees practical options for a sustainable commute to work,” says Managing Director Björn Fellner.
This initiative is just one of many activities and measures related to the HAINZL Green Deal: Modern e-cars - easily bookable via a dedicated app - are available to all employees for business trips and private use. Several PV systems on the hall and building roofs ensure a sustainable energy supply. A separate internal commuter exchange and the climate ticket for employees are also offered. All employees can and should make suggestions for improvement, with which HAINZL will continue to drive sustainable improvements. In the near future, the possibilities to park bikes in a weather-protected place and to charge e-bikes will be expanded.
