At the end of June, the HABAU GROUP opened its new corporate headquarters HAB1 in Perg after a construction period of almost two years. The modern building extends over three floors and offers 5,200 square meters of contemporary working space for around 200 employees. A particular highlight is the “AirDeck”, which floats above the existing building and, together with the new inner courtyard, represents the architectural attraction of the complex.
Great importance was attached to the needs of the employees and sustainability during the planning phase. A crèche and an exercise room for health programs will be completed by autumn. The new building has an almost energy self-sufficient heating and cooling solution that uses geothermal energy and a photovoltaic system.
HAINZL Gebäudetechnik was responsible for the electrical installations throughout the entire conversion, which was carried out during ongoing operations. This included the low-voltage distribution, high- and low-current installations and LAN cabling. In addition, modern lighting systems, emergency lighting and an early fire detection system were integrated. The installation of e-charging stations, which support the sustainability goals of the HABAU GROUP, was also of particular importance.
